John Manzatt

Mentor Instructor – John Manzatt: Mr. Manzatt holds a 7th dan rank with the IWKA and has 44 years of martial arts experience. Mr. Manzatt is a retired Detective with the Metro Parks Police Dept. He was an instructor with the Police Academy for 31 years, and has conducted numerous self-defense seminars for women at the YMCA, Fairview Wellness Center and other locations.
Mr. Manzatt founded Westshore Isshinryu at the Westshore YMCA in 1980 and has continued as a mentor for both instructors and students.
